great guide, but Damir's line: "And ladies: if you’re dating a man who has such strong opinions about fashion that you’re hesitating buying him anything, consider ending the relationship. Any man with such strong opinions on fashion is likely to be gay." is an insane perspective to endorse.
Nooo Philosopher Sam, for the men in my life who takes pride in their whisky I’m buying bottles from Campbeltown (Springbank, Hazelburn, or Longrow), distilleries who still use the traditional methods and not commercially malted barley. Ardbeg is LVMH owned
Dear god what a blunder! New Directions has a book club (actually several, by genre), and New York Review Books has a book club, and THEY ARE NOT THE SAME. They are both good for getting books published by their respective publishers, both of whom publish great good work that everyone, of any gender or other preferred identity should read, but which, again, are NOT THE SAME.
